First Impressions
⯌ Visual: Short, but one millimeter taller than her brother, which is crucial. Long brown hair that she tends to wear down, and braces. She doesn't use makeup unless she's going wild with color at a sleepover and her short skirts give her a "schoolgirl" look, so despite having just reached teenagerhood, she gives off a vibe of being very young.

⯌ Aural: Voiced by Kirsten Schaal. Her voice is expressive and typical for a teenaged girl, with one exception: When she screams, it's on the lower side of her usual voice range, rather than the high-pitched shriek you might expect from a girl. Sample

⯌ Fashion: Mabel's typical outfit is a weird sweater over a short skirt, with plain socks and slip-on shoes. She makes all of her sweaters herself. When she dresses up, she adds accessories that came straight out of the 80's, and her idea of formalwear involves use of a glue gun. Notably, once she's settled into Deerington, her usual sweater fixation will shift to a thing for poodle skirts.

⯌ Demeanor: Defaults to cheerfulness, and not at all shy. She's very energetic, though she gets some of that out with her spontaneous dance parties, and will go for stereotypical girl things like stickers, glitter, cute boys, and anything romance-related like a shark scenting blood in the water.

⯌ Backtagging: Yes please! I am slow, but I rarely drop threads.
⯌ Fourthwalling: Sure thing but let's chat first.
⯌ Off-Limits: Mabel isn't as naive as she sometimes seems -- one of canon's gags is that she sometimes eats so much sugar she goes into a coma and hallucinates, she's wandered into a bar before, and one of her great uncles carries a flask around. She's also witnessed plenty of violence in her canon. She can deal with these things if they are in front of her, but please talk to me about them first. That said, please DO NOT EVER outright offer her actual drugs or alcohol, and I will not thread her if there's anything explicitly sexy going on, even in private introspection. Again, she is 13 years old.
⯌ Warnings: Bullying, mild post-apocalyptic PTSD, violence towards minors, stalker behavior considered romantic by the character in question (Mabel is the victim here), emotional dysregulation

⯌ Physical Contact: Platonic stuff is fine! Mabel sometimes even hugs her brother on purpose even though he is a little stinky.
⯌ Mental Contact: Sure, but if someone springs it on her without warning her trust in that person will drop.
⯌ Flirting: If your character is 13 or close enough to it, feel free to ask! But because she's an aggressive flirt in canon, for the sake of my own sanity I'm having her ICly set things like that aside in the game in favor of looking after her family. Because of that she probably won't reciprocate unless the friendship is well established.
⯌ Fighting: She'd rather avoid it! So ask me first.
⯌ Injury: Ask first! If I'm going to hurt her outside of the occasional skinned knee or solid bruise, I want it to be related to a plot and have her support system solidly in place, so I need a big head's up.
⯌ Death: Ask first. Probably not, but I'll never say never!

⯌ IC Squicks/Triggers: Mabel's only known outright phobia has to do with stop-motion claymation artwork, though given that she had to fight one once, she's at peace with her fear now because it's rational. Her worst fear otherwise is getting left behind by the people she loves. She does also possess a creep radar and has dealt with a stalker in the past, but those things are less "triggers" for her and more of a fantastic way to get her to shut down the CR immediately.
